“Network Marketing is a numbers game”. At least this is what I was taught. When you come into this business you are asked to make a list of everyone you know and do not judge the people on that list.
What this mean is you can’t be the one to determine that this person would or would not be interested. The second thing you are asked to contact everyone on that list and invite them to some kind of presentation.
If you had credibility with them, then you would invite them yourself, but if you didn’t then you would edify your up-line and then you would put the prospect on a 3 way call with your up-line who would invite the prospect ti the next presentation, weather it’s a one on one, hotel meeting or home briefing.
Joe Girard, the great guineas book of world record said that the average person know 250 people. He stated that if someone get married roughly 250 are invited to the wedding. It was also stated that when someone dies 250 shows up at the funeral. That being said, you should be able to produce a list of at least 250 people.
What we generally do is plow though our warm market until there is no one else to talk to right? In alot of case new distributors are reluctant to even confront their warm market.
To sponsor distributors into you organization you need qualified prospects to talk to; people that want an opportunity.
Well even if you put everyone you know on that list you are going to eventually run out of people to talk to. Then what? What most Network Marketer do is buy leads or meet people in supermarket or run around the mall. Sound familiar?
Have you ever called a lead and they had no idea who you are or what you are talking about. Those were fresh leads right? Do you wonder why so many newbie network marketers quit this wonderful industry.
The internet has changed network marketing for ever. Instead of chasing people, wouldn’t it be much better if the people who are really looking for a business opportunity would just call you.
